Qalam Hub

One home for every Qalam team

Qalam Hub is the internal operations tool used by staff at Qalam to coordinate work across teams. One event or program creates every linked request, so Facilities, IT, Marketing, Seminary and the other teams can see their part of the same effort in one place instead of chasing each other by email.

It is not a public service. Access is limited to authorised Qalam staff by invitation, and there is no sign-up.

What staff use it for

Programs and calendars

Team, org-wide and shared-space calendars in month, week, day and agenda views, so nothing is double-booked.

Requests and tickets

Multi-step request forms routed to Facilities, IT or Marketing, with status visible to the whole submitting team.

Task boards

Board, table, timeline and calendar views with subtasks, progress and an 'awaiting feedback' status for work parked on another team.

Cross-team projects

One page per project holding every team's tickets and tasks, including recurring programs that repeat each cycle.

Google Calendar connection

Staff can optionally connect their Google Calendar so their own meetings appear alongside team and org-wide events, giving them their whole day in one view.

Qalam reads those events only to display them back to the person who owns them. They are fetched when the calendar is opened and are never stored by Qalam, never added to team or shared calendars, and never shown to anyone else. There is a separate, off-by-default option to copy Qalam events out into a calendar the app creates. It can only write to that one calendar, never to a calendar the person already had.

Full detail, including every permission requested, is in the Privacy Policy.

Access

Staff sign in with a one-time email code, a password, or Microsoft single sign-on. If you are Qalam staff and cannot get in, ask your team lead for an invitation or contact [email protected].
